Igor's AQ
I'll list these out in chronological order of the items' release.
DUCK STAB: PINK LABEL
10THANN BOX
MAN'S WORLD / WHITE SINGLE: REVERSED LABELS
PAL TV LP
DUCK STAB: PINK LABEL
Q: I thought that the ones pictured were both "red" but one had a matte label, the
other glossy... The one with the matte labels seems to have a ring around the inner
half of the label that's not on the glossy one.
A: I too was always on the glossy/matte thing, but the UncWillie book clarified
that by removing the reference. There's a pink one that was never released, and a
red one that was. And to me, the red one has 2 variations (noted in the list) where
the one looks a hair lighter than the other - but the pink one was noticeably different
even to me when compared with the others. As to color, well I'm fuckin' colorblind or
rather tone-blind (probs with shades) so I'm NO help there, but it did not look the
same to me...
I wrote down matte for the pinky when I borrowed it from EYE, and looking at the two
'red' ones I have, the one I noted in the list as "lighter" red is also matte, and the
"darker" one is a bit shiny. So I could see where the confusion may come from...

10THANN BOX: KEYCHAIN HAIR
Q: hey there, I thought you might be the right person to ask this: I own the 10th
anniv. box set w/ the keychain w/ the piece of rez hair. But in MY keychain there is
the yellow rez hair plus a real human hair (blackish-brown)wrapped around it. Is your
copy like this or is it maybe an accident that it got caught up in there?
A: The little tube thing is sealed up & I can't get in it to verify, but I do not
see anything but yellow yarn in this one. So I cannot say wassup with yours, other than
that I've never heard of any with something other than yarn. Hope that helpz...

MAN'S WORLD / WHITE SINGLE: REVERSED LABELS
Q: Question about "The White Single". I have two copies of the reversed label
version that I bought as soon as the item was available. I also have a regular copy
that came with the 17 x 7 Box Set. I’ve been corresponding with the guy who oversees
the “Bach is Dead” Discography. He has run into so many copies of the reversed label
version that he is beginning to suspect that there are way more than 300 copies out
there. Can you shed any light on this situation?
A: The only things that come to mind where the "known" quantities are sorta bogus
are "Kaw-Liga" (red rimmed picdisc) and umm, "Pollex Christi". And we added little
notes on those two in the list, to make known whatever we know about 'em.
But there has been a general "pattern of deception and lies" in the history of the
band, so I consider anything like that within the realm of possibility. Lacking
anything more than the "facts" as they've presented 'em, that's all we can go on.
If there is a discrepancy on The White Single, I'm not aware of it, sorry.

PAL TV LP
Q: I was researching the Pal TV LP red vinyl disc (Audio Non Ralph LP, 1985) because
it is up on e-bay for sale. Your data says that there were 5,000 first pressings on red
vinyl and 500 second pressings on black vinyl. Are these numbers reversed?
A: No sir, the numbers are accurate. Even Bach has the first part of it, just not
the # for the black'uns. And the latter # was obtained directly from Tom Timony. So
yes it is an odd bunny - the colored vinyl one, which you'd think would be 'more rare',
is actually not in this case...
